Before you continue read UNLOCK MTN FASTLINK MODEM,GLO, ZAIN, UNLOCK HUAWEI MODEMS to know how to unlock 3G modem.
After you must have generate your unlock code from the modem unlocker software( read the post above) you will now insert a sim card different from the network that originally owns the modem, i.e if it is MTN fastlink modem, remove the MTN SIM and replace it with either maybe Etisalat, Glo, Airtel SIM. After which you
will plug your modem back into your computer, after some seconds you will see a small window pop which wil be requesting for the unlock code. so you simply input the unlock code generated from the modem unlocking software and click enter. if the unlocking is successful the window will disappear meaning your 3G modem has been successfully unlocked.
Note : if any window did not pop up, then it simpy means your modem is not unlocked. To confirm this, you should also see the name network bars at the lower left corner of the modem dashbord, lets say etisalat, you will see etisalat network bar.
and also note that you only have 10 attempts to unlock your modem, this means that if you input the wrong code 10 times your will be locked forever..so dont make the mistake of trying to generate the unlock code yourself simply use the unlock software which will always generate the true unlock code for your modem
